The Glaston Group is group of Glastonbury residents who are exploring how the services offered to ‘pilgrim’ visitors to the town might be enhanced. The group acts as a catalyst working with others to help with the additional services that seem to be needed.

Western Order of Druids

A local Order of Druids in Glastonbury re-formed on Saturday 16th September 2006. It is proposed that our new Order be called the Western Order of Druids, abbreviated 'WOOD'. This name reflects the fact that not all of our activities are confined to Glastonbury.

Our vision is to create and maintain a permanent contemporary Goddess Temple openly dedicated to the Goddess in Glastonbury and its Otherworldly counterpart, the Isle of Avalon. The Goddess Temple is a sacred space open to all, which is specially set aside for the exploration and celebration of the Divine Feminine. It is a holy place where we can worship and honour Her in ways that are old and new and where all our love for Her is welcome.

The Glastonbury Trust is an educational and religious charity with a policy of promoting and supporting spiritual development within education. We support a number of experiential learning projects in partnership with local schools. We are also open to external funding applications for both religious and educational activities.
